Spring Fling is a wild weekend of fishing, shooting sports, hiking, games, and much more! The theme for 2014 Spring Fling is “Spirit of the Wild”. Come for the weekend or just for the day on Saturday. Other activities include a night hike, sports, crafts, roasting marshmallows, and visiting with special guests. Activities on Saturday will begin and end with a campwide flag ceremony and you won’t want to miss our giant campfire in the lakefront amphitheatre on Saturday night! And you won’t want to miss the Spring Fling Eggstravaganza.
Your family can cook your own meals in your campsite or eat in our air-conditioned dining hall. You can also rent a camp tent, complete with your own built-in bed! Flushing toilets and private showers are featured throughout the camp.
If you are attending Spring Fling, you can also pre-pay for a camp tent in the Adventure Camp (Click Here to Reserve a Camp Tent).

Get hooked on Scouting with our annual Fun with Son weekend. Fun with Son is a special one-on-one weekend experience for any Cub Scout and his adult partner at our beautiful piedmont camp. Activities include hiking, fishing, learning to shoot BB guns, doing leatherwork, swimming, canoeing, shooting bows and arrows, and exploring nature. The fun culminates with a campfire at the impressive Bert Adams amphitheatre.
Hot dinner Saturday evening and breakfast Sunday morning will be served in the air-conditioned camp dining hall! You and your son get to camp in one of the camp tents, just like the Boy Scouts do each week. And, of course, Scouts tet to keep all their crafts as well as a fantastic collector’s patch.
